Isn’t that a little too blatant a rip-off of xbox live? When I saw this I actually felt somewhat embarassed myself for Nokias Game/Phone Frankenstein.
I really try to stay somewhat open-minded about the games industry but it’s just too easy to bash the N-Gage (it’s “not good” and looks like a taco) and this was one opportunity I didn’t want to miss! Oh well, I really do hope they fare better with this next version of the phone.

For those of you who do not understand swedish, the address field translates to “the jew tube”. Now, most of us are familiar with jewtube.com but judetuben.se seems to actually link to the real YouTube. WTF? Please explain.
I suspect that one certain person, not gonna say who it is, has registered judetuben.se and is redirecting all traffic to YouTube. Wonder what will happen when YouTube finds out.

I’m sitting here wondering what a good trial version of a game should contain. What elements of a good trial inspire you to “convert”? Is it the generosity of the trial, i.e. the more of the game you get to evaluate the more confident you get about your decision to buy the full version? Perhaps it’s those pure essentials of the game that have to shine through, those core gameplay elements that really define the nature of the game and its unique aspects?
I watched some random videos over at GameTrailer this morning, among others these two Halo commercials, I think they deserve a post here on the blog simply because they’re really cool! Made by Neill Blomkamp, who’s also the man behind that sweet Citroen commercial among other things.
