Review: In Flames - A Sense of Purpose

Yesterday I got bored resulting in some new songs in my playlist. Later that day interwebs failed and I had nothing to do but listen to all those songs. Twelve songs managed to impress me all time high.

In Flames new release A Sense Of Purpose is unexpectedly melodic and mellowed compared to their earliest albums. And it’s good. The riffs are a blast and the songs also feature many awesome bridges or passages (correct term?!). Lyrics mostly deal with frustration, meaningless and so on. Less angriness in other words. If I have to choose a fav song it’ll be I’m a Highway as it somehow manage to bring all album aspects into one song. Well, that’s it. Go listen yourselves

Most awesome In Flames!

Score: at least 4/5

Fortissimo in tutti!

the frequency in new posts is at an all time low. So I’ll post some retarded shit in hope that it will spawn offspring from my fellow writers. Dunno if it will work but hey, I like the funny business!

Time consumer, mast plei nao k thnx bai

If you missed it on Kotaku, here is a fine remix of that ass-hatt Akon’s “Put the blame on me”

Uncanny accuracy I must say, suppose it’s one of the reasons that the new-post-count is low too.

Friday approaches

Edited this post with the video i was originally searching for, kinda Aphex Twin. I liek

So I thought that some musica and raunchy women-folk would be approved!

and also gratz to mr Afk for the most awesome ding!

This is what the Internet was made for!

The Mega Man 2-music really is the best evar. And now it’s made even better by the best lyrics. Warning for sudden feelings of nostalgia!

Pure awesome, I’d buy that for a dollar!

Heroes to us! (?)

So what do you guys say!? Are Kalmah the greatest win ever to have won? Or are they an epic failure seconded by none?
Anyhooo.. Some info about the band that i loled at: Lead-vocalist/Guitarist is Pekka Kokko ;DD and on another guitar we find his brother Anti Kokko. It amuses me to say the least!

Still I find they are the only thing i listen to at the moment. Everything else pales in comparison. It simply falls in their shadow and leaves me wanting.

So please berate me for my lack of music comprehension or shower me with your praise that I’ve found the Grail! (in between is never option, Kill the idealist!)
